Just an update about a change of direction. I thought it more useful to create a group based on those interested in helping build this website rather than consensus. Consensus broadly speaking is the basis of democracy but it doesn't really get to the heart of the powerful potential of this website. Admin1 Kirk (talk)

I started this group as a way of understanding how consensus can be used to provide a basis of a democratic conversation. I come at the issue with past experience in the Green Party of California. In my observation the consensus process drove that politic movement into the ground along with the fact that in the US the "first past the post" systems create a mostly two party reality. Still I feel the consensus process can play a big part in a truly democratic process. Admin1 Kirk (talk) 10:22, 3 February 2021 (MST)
