I have recently ripped the carpets up in my house to reveal a concrete subfloor that I don't believe is completely flat. I am wanting to lay a laminate floor on top of the concrete, but I'm unsure of which brand to go with. I had orignally wanted Pergo, but have heard that it echos badly and also scratches very easily. I have heard some good things about Nafco and was wondering if anyone had used it. I am intending to lay these floors myself, so ease of installation along with cost are big considerations. Any help in this matter would be much appreciated.

It has been a workhorse, but we want a laminate that looks like the site-finished oak in our kitchen and living room, both of which have French doors to the room. We have no experience with purchasing laminate, but we do have it in all the upstairs bedrooms at our vacation house and it has been great; easy to clean and extremely durable. Please share your experiences purchasing and installing.

I am not sponsored nor am I being paid for mentioning any brands. If you have any additional questions I do try to answer them in the comments every chance I get.
