  Happy Spring from Zone 5A in Northwest Iowa!  Both my vegetable and cut flower gardens are almost fully planted, so this week's project was setting up my vertical garden structures.  This year I will be able to grow more crops in the exact same space just by utilizing vertical gardening!

If you live in the city or on a small urban block and not going vertical with your plants, well you just may have a ton of space going to waste.
If you have a wall or at a garden bed end then I highly suggest that you start growing straight up. 
There is a huge range of materials being thrown out every day and I am 100% sure if you put your mind to it, you truly could make a wonderful productive garden that grows straight up.
