Roger is a native of Cleveland, Ohio, but he now lives and gardens in North Carolina, zone 8, where he enjoys the much longer growing season. He’s someone who is always trying out new ideas and new methods of growing crops. He’s been experimenting with hydroponics for the last five-plus years after meeting author and horticulturist Brie Arthur. He had watched the episode of my public television program “Growing a Greener World” with Brie on hydroponics and decided to give it a shot himself.
